William Macdonald

Age: 32

Sex: male

Date: 12 Oct 1902

Place: River Thames, West India Dock

William Macdonald was found drowned in the River Thames near to West India Docks.

He had been the fourth engineer of the sailing yacht Argenaut and had come from Perth in Scotland.

Nothing further was heard of him until his body was found in the water.

There were no marks of violence about his body and at the Coroner's suggestion the jury returned an open verdict.
